The Ram Setu is a chain of limestone shoals between Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, and Mannar Island in Sri Lanka it is 48 km long Belived to be made by the Ram Sena in 5 Days to reach Sri Lanka for Release of maa sita captured by King Ravana. Until 1480, Sri Lanka and India were connected by a land bridge called Ram Setu, which made it possible to move easily from one country to another. This natural bridge was destroyed by a terrible cyclone. Is one of the historic site of Ramayana Trails.
